The turtle
  • Start sitting with your knees bent and your feet on the floor wider than your hips.
  • Extend your back and lean your upper body between your legs.
  • Place the right shoulder as far down on the inside of the right knee as possible and send the arm out to the side under the right leg. Do the same with the left shoulder and arm.
  • Keep your back long as you begin to stretch your legs out to the floor to the sides so that your chest and the front of your shoulders are as far down the floor as possible.
  • Stay here 5-6 breaths and gently get out of position again.
